Sharpening

Julia Utensili is pleased to inform you that thanks to the installation of a new Loroch C710 re-sharpener, the company can offer a grinding and re-sharpening service dedicated to HSS blades with a diameter up to 700 mm.

In accordance to the latest developments and new technologies that the re-sharpener presents, the process is carried out using a special CBN wheels developed for this specific purpose in addition to a oil-only lubrication that can guarantee an excellent and superior blades quality.

The main characteristics that we can offer are:

  • Extreme precision and accuracy due to an innovative handling and control system;
  • Low production tolerances due to the robustness of the entire re-sharpener;
  • A superior finish that allows an increased blade’s life;
  • The presence of a data recording that stores all the parameters used for the blades’ machining;
  • New generation software and PLC that allow every kind of tooth shapes without quality compromising.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ON CUSTOMER SITE

Our team of engineers can also support the customer at their factory premises. It is often possible for us to be present during the commissioning of a new machine, together with the machine manufacturer, or for a new customer application. If you need this support don’t hesitate to contact us.

 

COMPUTER ASSISTED CUTTING PARAMETERS JULIACUT

A number of years ago we decided to develop specific software to record all the experience and information that we have gleaned from working with numerous applications.

This software continues to be developed, and is a very important instrument in optimising the cutting parameters, thus enabling the customer to achieve unprecedented performance in their existing cutting plants.

We inserted all the materials’ characteristics into this software and, thanks to our cooperation with machine producers, all the machines’ characteristics as well. With this software we can now simulate the customer’s cutting processes, and suggest the best parameters to use in line with the material and section they are cutting. With the C.A.E simulation, we can utilise the computer to view the cutting processes alongside our customers in an office environment, and adapt the parameters to suit.
